Frequently Asked Questions

What is Snapo?

Snapo is a unique construction toy system designed to inspire creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on learning. Unlike traditional building blocks, Snapo pieces connect on all six sides and can Snap, Spin, & Slide, giving kids more ways to build, play, and create.

What ages are Snapo toys designed for?

Snapo offers products for different ages and skill levels. Snapo Jr. is designed for younger builders, generally ages 1–5, while our standard Snapo building sets are designed for children ages 3 and up. Always check the recommended age on the individual product package.

What makes Snapo different from other building blocks?

Snapo brings a new dimension to building. Our patented Snap Technology allows pieces to connect on all six sides, while the pieces can Snap, Spin, & Slide. This gives children the freedom to create in ways that traditional building blocks can't.

Is Snapo safe for children?

Yes. Snapo products are designed with children's safety in mind and meet applicable ASTM F963 toy safety standards. Snapo blocks are BPA-free and non-magnetic. Always follow the age recommendation and supervision guidelines provided with each product.

Are Snapo blocks made in the USA?

Yes! Snapo toys are proudly designed and manufactured in the USA at our facility in Reading, Pennsylvania.

Are Snapo blocks recyclable?

Yes. Snapo is committed to more sustainable manufacturing. Our blocks are 100% recyclable, and we recycle our own clean, FDA food-grade plastic in our manufacturing process. Some Snapo products are made with up to 50% in-house recycled material.

Are Snapo blocks washable?

Yes. Snapo blocks are washable and dishwasher-safe on the top rack. We recommend allowing pieces to dry completely before storing.

Do Snapo blocks use magnets?

No. Snapo does not use magnets to connect the pieces. Our patented Snap Technology creates the connection between pieces.

What skills do children develop while playing with Snapo?

Snapo encourages hands-on learning while helping develop fine motor skills, hand-eye coordination, spatial awareness, problem-solving, creativity, and early STEM/STEAM skills.

Is Snapo an educational toy?

Yes. Snapo is a hands-on STEAM-focused construction toy that combines Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math concepts with imaginative play.

Can Snapo be used in classrooms or therapy settings?

Absolutely. Snapo has applications beyond the home and can be used in classrooms, pediatric therapy, educational programs, and other learning environments. Its hands-on design encourages children to build, experiment, solve problems, and express their creativity.

Can Snapo pieces be combined between different Snapo sets?

Yes. Snapo sets within the same Snapo system are designed to work together, allowing children to combine sets and expand their creations.

What is the difference between Snapo Jr. and Snapo?

Snapo Jr. features larger pieces designed specifically for younger children and early builders, generally ages 1–5. Snapo features a more advanced construction system for children ages 3 and up, offering additional building possibilities and a bridge between larger chunky blocks and smaller construction systems.

How do I clean my Snapo blocks?

Snapo blocks can be washed with warm, soapy water. They are also dishwasher safe on the top rack. Make sure pieces are completely dry before putting them away.

Where are Snapo products made?

Snapo products are proudly manufactured in Reading, Pennsylvania, USA at our company-owned manufacturing facility.

How do I know which Snapo set is right for my child?

Start with the recommended age listed for each product. For younger children, Snapo Jr. is a great place to begin. For children ages 3 and up who are ready for more advanced building and creative challenges, our standard Snapo sets offer expanded possibilities.
